Dolomites Day 4 - Adolf Munkel, Gardena Pass & Passo Giau

Someone woke up with a temperature.

We head down to the dining area for breakfast buffet. The buffet was quite a spread, with so many types of bread, cheese, fruits, cereal, juices and free flow coffee.

The owner’s son came to show my husband the car racing game he was playing, while he spoke German and we speak zero German.

Hold hand some more.

Ready to take on day 4 in Dolomites.

Such a sunny day.

We were supposed to do the Adolf Munkel trail but since my husband was not feeling well, we decided to just find a spot to enjoy the nature and take the day easy.

We found our spot, next to a stream.

β€œIt’s the best nap I’ve ever had” that’s what he said. My poor baby aka the driver and planner of this trip.

It was really warm.

We continue the drive to our next stay.

We found our lunch spot for the day, along Gardena Pass.

Name a better lunch spot.

We continue the drive with amazing views that kept me off my toes the whole time.

Made it. Look at the view from the hotel, subhanAllah.

Front

and back

View from the room’s window.

Freshen up and driving to Passo Giau for sunset.

Took lots and lots of sunset photos and videos here.

On our drive back to the hotel, we were stopped by 2 hitchhikers from Tasmania. We dropped them off somewhere dark, as they requested, and they started hiking from there, through the night. They saved about 10km hike for riding with us. And that’s the end of day 4 in Dolomites.
