Dolomites Day 3 - Ortisei

Good morning Dolomites!

Packing snakcs and lunch for today’s hike.

Taking one last look at this amazing view out the window.

Checking out after 2 nights.

Walk around to find coffee before we start our hike.

The most expensive coffee I had in Dolomites, also the worst tasting. So milky. Lesson learned to never order a latte in Italy.

Of course I have to counter that milky taste with a strong macchiato.

I learn that Italian coffees are not that strong because they use 1 instead of 2 shots so macchiato has been out go-tos. Basically just espresso with a dollop of steamed milk.

Now we’re ready to go up.

Literally me and my husband in 30 years time.
