I get super emotional on the drive back from this event for so many reasons: 1) its my 8th event with them and probably my last. 2) how grateful I am. 3) how life has come full circle.

I still remember the first time I met Anis and Idris at Huckleberry before their wedding. They told me its gonna be a protocol wedding and it was my first time shooting with royalties and gosh I was a nerve wreck. Fast forward, I have covered almost all of this families’ big events and I’m forever grateful for the opportunity and the constant warm and fuzzy feelings being around this beautiful family.

And then I met Anis after all of her wedding events were done. We talked about how one day if God allows her to be a mum which her eyes glistened talking about it and I know at that moment, she will be such an amazing mum, just like her mother. And here we are. You’re blessed with a such a healthy and the cutest baby girl! MasyaAllah. And seeing how gentle and loving Idris is towards both of you makes me feel all sort of ways. It’s no surprise because I see you both got the soft and tender loving from your parents.

And I really was on the verge of crying when Arisa hugged and kiss you both. She’s leaving to London right after that event. Just knowing how close knits their bonds as a family, I feel the sadness in my bones. I have a flash of how me and my sisters gonna be on my send off later.

If you’ve been following me long enough, you know that I was so lucky to be brought to LA for a post wedding shoot, by non other than their cousins, Shaza and Rafi. And now they have a pair of kids already! Full circle moment!
