Hajar & Fayadh
The Solemnization of Siti Hajar Isa & Fayadh Roszaind
21 Dec 2019
Tanah Larwina, Hulu Langat
Iβve known Jay (Hajar) since 2017, she was one of my first few clients after I got back to Malaysia for good. I was still figuring out a lot of stuff but she believed in me and let me capture on her graduation day from Manipal University (which then I never missed their graduation session for 3 years straight, they all said βI got your Ig from Jayβs) and for that I was so grateful. After that, something so heartbreaking happened to her marriage, she got divorced and became this one super strong mother and supposedly father to her son, Aslan. The way she brought up Aslan on her own definitely made me grow so much respect towards her, despite her crazy schedule being in housemanship program, we all know how crazy that alone.
So early last year when she contacted to book me for her wedding, I was so happy and grateful that she finally met the man that loves her as much as she loves him and she said I was the second person to know about it (awww). Fast forward to Dec 2019, I got to this amazingly beautiful place called Tanah Larwina where the wedding took place. The dais was placed next to the stream of river, it was so serene and beautiful and definitely couldnβt be better. The wedding was so small and intimate with just about 100 guests including family and friends but it was not short of laughter and beautiful memories. Knowing Jay, I know the wedding would be extravagant and filled with little details and thatβs exactly how it was. I was so proud to say that this was the best wedding I ever being a part of and had to shoot this single handedly while being able to capture every moments in time, Iβm so so blessed! She also let me stay there for 2 nights with her family that was so accommodating and didnβt made me feel like an outsider at all. Honestly I didnβt like I was on a work trip because it was so chill and after the wedding, I got to soak in the coldness of the river. Thank you again Jay and Fayadh for having me. May your marriage last till Jannah and may Aslan get another sibling(s) soon?
